Gingerbread Workshop
Mon County Center - 270 Mylan Park Lane, Morgantown, WV, USA
Looking for holiday family fun? Come to the Gingerbread Workshop, an annual fundraiser for Spark Imagination and Science Center!
On Sunday, December 15, 2024, Spark! Imagination and Science Center will hold the Gingerbread Workshop. Spark will provide the gingerbread kit, icing and candies for you to create your very own gingerbread house masterpiece.
Build cherished memories as you create a gingerbread house, make a light-up gingerbread craft, run a model railroad train, and so much more. The Gingerbread Workshop is sponsored by Arrow Engineering, Huntington Bank, Place of Grace and Shear Madness.
“We are excited to offer this great opportunity for families and friends to create their very own gingerbread house and just enjoy some fun activities together,” says Julie Bryan, Executive Director of Spark. “We also hope to raise much needed funding for Spark to be able to continue to provide educational programs to the community.”
The event will raise funds for the non-profit Spark! Imagination and Science Center in Morgantown which is the only institution of its kind in a 70-mile radius. Spark’s hands-on interactive exhibits and programs get kids excited about science and the arts. Sponsorship opportunities are still available, contact Julie if you would like to learn about becoming a sponsor of the Gingerbread Workshop.
There are two time slots to choose from, 130-3 pm or 330-5 pm. You will have to select a time upon purchasing your tickets. The Gingerbread Workshop will be held at the Mon County Center at Mylan Park
Tickets are $40. Tickets include one gingerbread kit and entrance fee for 4 people. Additional entry tickets can be purchased for $10 per person and additional gingerbread kits can be purchased the day of the event.
Spark! Imagination and Science Center is a 501 (c) 3, non-profit organization. Spark is located inside the Mountaineer Mall at 5000 Greenbag Road and is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm. For more information, call 304-292-4646 or visit the museum’s website at sparkwv.org.
